  2. Phase 01 · Clarify your route

    2–4 weeks

    Interview and document check

Video call with our team in your country or online. We check certificates, licence and experience and tell you which route and destination are realistic.

You learn German up to B1 or B2 – on site or online, with vocabulary for your profession. Exam with Goethe, ÖSD or telc; we book dates early.

  5. Phase 02 · Prepare

Regulated professions may require additional courses, supervised practice or examinations in the destination country. Whether and in which role you may work before full recognition depends on the official decision, residence and employment law, and the employer.

  9. Phase 03 · Enter & settle in

    ongoing

    Staying

FAQ

Questions from professionals

How long does it take from application to arrival?

Typically 8–20 months: Bosnia and Türkiye 8–15, Colombia and Ecuador 12–20, Philippines, Indonesia, India, Tunisia, Kenya 12–24. The German course is the biggest block; recognition and documents run in parallel. If you already speak German, it is faster.

Can I work before my degree is fully recognised?

In nursing, yes: in Austria as nursing (associate) assistant for up to two years, in Germany as a nursing auxiliary under the recognition partnership (§ 16d (3) AufenthG), in Switzerland with an L permit under supervision. You are paid regularly. Technical and hospitality professions can be practised immediately.

Which documents do I need?

Passport, diploma and transcripts with grades/hours, licence or registration (PRC, STR, Nursing Council …), work certificates with hours, birth certificate, police clearance, later a medical certificate. Please do not translate anything before we talk – authorities require specific translators, and apostille or legalisation depend on your country and the destination.
